i did the grounding cables earlier this week and the intake and pop charger tonight. reset the ecu and took it out for a spin. the sound was awesome.. but the car kept bogging down and acting like it wanted to stall. i thought maybe that was a side affect of the ecu reset, so i drove it around a bit and then came back home. it was still doing it, so i ripped the pop charger out and started removing the intake when i noticed the vacuum line was kinked from being twisted a tad too far. made that better, put it all back together, reset the ecu, fired it up and went for a spin.

all i have to say is HOLY @$@# it is much peppier and the sound is GREAT. looking at dyno's for other people that have done these mods, it looks like it should be 12 hp 12 torque or so. above 3500-4000 rpm's you get a nice rumble from the intake/pop charger. even when drastically over the speed limit... not that i would ever do that... O:-)

woo. so that is.. phase 1 i guess. we shall see if/when i do more.
