sigur ros - staralur
looper - impossible things #2
pedro the lion - the longest winter
trembling blue stars - sometimes i still feel the bruise, do people ever?
*all those songs make me reeeeallly sad...but they're pretty

belle and sebastian - waiting for the moon, beautiful
dispatch - elias
*someone forced me to dl dispatch, and they were pretty good

there's a band i saw the other night opening for zwan called abandoned pools, and they were really good...harder rock than the ones ive listed.

if you're in a mood for softness, i recommend you 'Sinead Lohan - what can never be' , 'Sarah Slean - blue parade' and 'Sunny day real estate - in circles'

remy zero - shattered is a good one.
creeper lagoon - keep from moving
unwritten law - seein' red
britney spears -i'm a slave for you [haha...at least this song is great to dance to]
anything by coldplay
my favorite of all time is 'radiohead - creep' but i am sure you've heard that one before.

mm all of my music is pretty damn depressing... but here goes:

radiohead
true love waits
permanent daylight
phillipa chicken
how can you be sure

yo la tengo: tears are in your eyes
thursday: cross out the eyes
sebadoh: ocean
red house painters:
have you forgotten
song for a blue guitar
silly love songs
all mixed up
belle&sebastian:
beautiful
get me away from here i'm dying
simple things
death cab for cutie:
title track
champagne from a paper cup

steve von till is pretty damn good.
and, of course, any of the cure's old stuff.

mmk. i have said enough. :)

heh, i'll send you my brother's demo cd for his band, the milwaukee playboys.
you'll never want to find new music again.

tool's "salival" collection has some nice live tracks and covers, especially one of "no quarter"
social distortion has a pleasantly non-uplifting "bar-rock" feel..."ball and chain," "ring of fire," and "sickboy" are all good songs.
skinny puppy is just freaky sounding goth-industrial-techno fun.
